Remember this term rehearsals are at St Mark's Dalston due to building works at St Luke's. The address is St Mark's church, Daston, E8 2NL

Rutter, Sedibeng, Parry, Onyx Brass and all that

It's official. Sedibeng Choral Society will be joining us for the Autumn concert which will be earlier than usual on Friday October 8th.  Rehearsal midi files of the Rutter are available on Cyberbass but only of the first part and because we will only have four weeks of rehearsals before the concert it is important that everyone makes a real effort to get to as many rehearsals as they possibly can. The Onyx Brass ensamble will be accompanying us and performing a piece themselves.

Quiz Night

Our very own Chris Tarrant -Dr Andy Storey, will be Quiz Master for the Hackney Singers Quiz Night which takes place on Friday 15th of October at Core Arts in St Barnabus Terrace. This event is always highly enjoyable for all concerned and a chance for members' friends and families to join in our fun.

Karaoke and Cabaret Night

As if that wasn't exciting enough Lisa is organising a Karaoke and Cabaret Night for us on Friday December 10th also at Core Arts. All you amateur and indeed professional luvvies out there with a song in your heart and joy in your smile this is your chance to dazzle us all. So starting thinking what you might like to perform and get practising -as long as you remember to practice the Rutter and the Parry too!

Hackney Singers Committee news

The Committee is reviewing the Constitution and policies to make sure that
they are up-to-date and workable. The first policy we have updated is the
Fees Policy and the updated version is now on the website.
