The choir is run by a voluntary management committee elected by the members at our AGM.  We have about two committee meetings per term.  Members are welcome to stand for election at our AGM.

There are also many jobs members can do without needing to be on the committee - helping with advertising for the concert programmes, being a steward at a concert, helping with admin, organising a social event - get involved, it's your choir!

Section Reps should be the first point of contact for any member's issues, suggestions or comments.  We have produced a leaflet with key information for members which may help answer your question.

Committee members

We have two email groups for choir members, both on Yahoo groups.  When you join you will be enrolled in both groups, but please feel free to unsubscribe from HSOtherinfo if it is not for you, and email membership@hackneysingers.org.uk if your email address changes.

The HSMembers group is used by the committee to communicate to members about choir business.
